Opportunity Overview:​

On behalf of a leading consulting firm client, CrestHire Partner is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Business Analyst, Specialist – Core Consulting Product to join a dynamic consulting environment located in the heart of downtown Toronto.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for internal consulting products and services.

  • Support product owners, business line partners, and IT teams in their decision-making and delivery of initiatives aligned to strategic priorities.

  • Define process scope for optimization and proactively manage planning activities for key deliverables across various business functions.

  • Lead workshops and collaborative sessions with multiple stakeholders, including business, operations, and technical teams at varying levels of expertise.

  • Model current and future-state business processes using the company’s existing process mapping standards and tools.

  • Conduct high-level and detailed impact analysis across all process dimensions (people, systems, data, policies), engaging SMEs and other stakeholders as needed.

  • Apply best practices in eliciting, classifying, and documenting business requirements, stakeholder needs, and solution requirements (functional, non-functional, transitional, informational).

  • Analyze data and translate findings into actionable insights using Excel, Power BI, and similar tools.

  • Develop detailed documentation, including business requirement documents (BRDs), user stories, use cases, process flows, and training guides.

  • Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives to ensure solutions are developed iteratively and meet business needs.


Must-Have Qualifications and Experience:

  • Completed or 1-year remaining to complete post-secondary (University or College) education in Business, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or equivalent certification or training.

  • 1-5 year(s) of overall work experience in professional environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with Power BI or similar tools.

  • Strong skills in process analysis, requirement gathering, and stakeholder communication.

  • High attention to detail, organization, time management, and ability to manage priorities in a hybrid work environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence decision-making.


Nice To Have:

  • Knowledge of Business Analysis methodology (e.g., BABOK, UML, BPMN).

  • Understanding of Agile Mindset and experience working in agile teams.

  • Knowledge of project lifecycles, data flow diagrams, systems development, and IT-business alignment practices.

  • Able to enrol and complete within 6 months from hiring a BA-related certifications, bootcamps or training courses.


Work Environment & Schedule:

  • Hybrid work model with 2–3 days per week on-site in downtown Toronto.

  • Standard business hours (Monday to Friday).

  • Opportunity to work with seasoned professionals and gain exposure to cross-functional consulting initiatives.​​

Compensation: $67,000 - $93,000 per annum

Expected Start Date: June 2, 2025

Job Type: Full-Time, 24-Month Fixed-Term Contract with Potential for Permanent Placement depending on demand.
